Ama Serwaa

Ama Serwaa is the compassionate and insightful host of our relationship content. Her background in psychology and counseling brings depth to our shows that explore modern relationships in Ghana. Growing up in Accra with parents who were both therapists, Ama developed an early interest in human relationships and communication. She pursued this interest academically, earning degrees in psychology and relationship counseling, and professionally through her work as a relationship therapist before joining OJA Studios. Ama's approach to hosting combines empathy with evidence-based insights. On "Modern Love Ghana," she creates a safe space for guests to share their relationship experiences while offering thoughtful analysis and practical advice. Her ability to discuss sensitive topics with both warmth and professionalism has made her a trusted voice for viewers navigating their own relationship journeys. Beyond her work at OJA Studios, Ama runs relationship workshops and contributes to several publications on modern dating and family dynamics in Ghana. She is particularly passionate about helping young Ghanaians balance traditional values with contemporary relationship expectations. When she's not in front of the camera, Ama enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family.
